Hi, I'm Taylor!
I’ve always loved art, though I wouldn’t say I was “naturally gifted.” What I have always had is a deep love for patterns, color, and trying out all kinds of creative projects. I also enjoy learning new things—and just as much, teaching them to others.
Before I got serious about tie-dye, I tried selling my paintings, made artwork for screen-printed shirts, and even gave art school a shot (one whole semester!). I still have a stash of those original screen-printed tees from over a decade ago—if you’ve ever
snagged one of my butterfly or owl designs, that’s where they came from.
Tie-dye pulled me in like a bee to honey. It combined everything I love: color, science, math, and symmetry—wrapped into one vibrant art form. I was reintroduced to it at a
family reunion with a basic craft store kit. Naturally, I jumped in to help others and loved the moment we all opened our creations together.
After that, I dabbled more and more, using kits with my kids and slowly becoming obsessed with finding better dyes and techniques. Over the next few years, I honed my process, transforming stained shirts, old dresses—even our family’s Christmas
pajamas—into colorful works of art.
Friends and family started noticing, and I began hosting small dye parties when we had guests. Eventually, my mom’s women’s group invited me to lead a tie-dye activity at a
retreat. About 40 women dyed their event bags in small groups—and I even tied
the event’s message into the activity (pun very much intended). The response
was overwhelming, and several attendees encouraged me to turn this passion into
a business.
That was April of 2023. Since then, I’ve kept learning, practicing, and sharing my love of color through wearable and functional art—and teaching others to do the same.

TIE DYE TAYLOR
When I say book a Tie Dye party! What type of party do you think of? A birthday? A reunion? Check out a couple less typical examples:
First; A women’s group affiliated with a local church reached out to me while planning a series of backyard gatherings in July. They were looking for an optional activity—tie-dye—that attendees could sign up for during the social portion following the lesson. The group chose aprons as the item to dye, which was a fun and practical choice. What made this event especially great was that participation in the tie-dye activity was optional and came at an added cost, which I handled through a payment link embedded directly in their RSVP form. This meant the host could focus entirely on preparing her lesson without having to manage RSVPs or track payments—everything was streamlined and stress-free.
Second, A Tie-Dye Baby Shower! Instead of the usual baby shower games, the grandmother-to-be planned a creative twist—guests dyed onesies, burp cloths, and swaddle blankets! She provided the items, and I brought everything else, including
premixed dyes customized to the parents-to-be color preferences. The activity was a huge hit! Everyone loved making something special that baby boy would soon be wearing. By the end of the party, Mom and Dad had a whole collection of unique, handmade gifts—each one created with love.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
When Jessica planned her son Max’s 4th-grade birthday, she wanted fun—not chaos. Enter Tie Dye Taylor. They brought everything: supplies, setup, and serious color magic. Twelve kids turned her backyard into a swirling masterpiece of neon spirals, galactic swirls, and one very proud “donut” design. Parents stayed to sip coffee and marvel at the mess-free fun. Max declared it “the best party ever,” and his teacher now wants to book Taylor for class. No stress, no glitter in her hair—just happy kids and epic shirts. Jessica? She became a playground legend. No goats, bounce houses, or breakdowns required.
FAMILY REUNIONS
The Johnson family reunion in the mountains was all campfires, stories—and tie dye. Tie Dye Taylor brought the fun, and the forest brought the freedom. With pine trees as their backdrop and zero worries about mess, the kids went full chaos with color. Shirts, socks, even a mystery rock got the tie-dye treatment. Parents didn’t flinch when dye flew—out here, it just felt like part of the adventure. By sunset,
clothes were hanging from branches like a rainbow forest. It wasn’t just a craft; it became a core memory. Turns out, messy + mountains = magic.

child burn survivors.

EVENT PLANNING BASICS
STEP 1
On the party package page(link to page)
Choose 1 Selection for each Color in the chart below ( you should have 4 selections, 1 yellow, 1 blue, 1 purple, 1 Green)
Choose your party base, large groups may require extra Tie Dye Deputies (yellow)
+ Add your color preferences (blue)
+ Choose your dye-able (purple)
+ Distance from Tie Dye Taylor Home Base (green)
Step 2
Choose as many add-ons as you would like.
Step 3
Fill out contact/event information
Step 4
I contact you to go over details, make any necessary adjustments and send you the invoice for deposit
Step 5
Once the deposit is received your date with be bolded in black on my calendar and appear as a private tie dye party on the event calendar. I will make all the necessary preparations and will be available for any follow up questions or concerns as your day approaches.
Step 6
The day of the party I will show up 30-60+min early for set up depending on the group size. You will point to where I need to set up the dye station and I get everything ready.
Step 7
We gather the group and I go over the basic ground rules and execute the best tie dye party in history
Step 8
Once everyone is finished I make sure everyone has the dyed items in their baggies and have their soap or are registered for Tie Dye Taylor treatment.
Step 9
I clean up the mess and let you get on with your party!

Either you follow the washing instructions using the provided soap packet OR you add on professional treatment where I rinse, wash, treat, and deliver you're ready to
use item(s).
Step 11
Enjoy your item knowing you created something truly amazing.

With pricing starting at just $7.50 per person and an average of $16, we come in well below the typical $20–$45 range you’ll see with similar creative activities like paint parties, slime bars, or pottery painting. And the best part? Every guest leaves with their own unique tie-dyed creation, so it’s both the entertainment and the party favor—all in one.
Worried About the Mess?
I've got it covered! I bring everything pre-mixed and ready to use—including slow-flow dye bottles that minimize leaks, even if tipped over. Your dye station will be fully equipped with tablecloths, spill towels, aprons, and gloves. Once the fun is over, I wipe down all finished item bags, clean the entire area, and haul away all garbage—so you don’t have to deal with a thing.
